This week’s topic: Christmas!
Just like Thanksgiving, my tradition for Christmas is: Family. That’s the most important thing to me on Christmas! As long as I get to spend time with my loved ones, nothing else really matters.
We don’t have a set time to decorate. We’re not one of the Christmas crazy families that put the tree up on Black Friday. We don’t have many traditions, either. No mistletoe, no fruit cake. We just have a nice dinner with immediate family! We always have a gathering for my dad’s kids (my brothers and sister and their kids) a week or two before, and we just rotate wherever it’s held each year.
I am, however, looking forward to making new Christmas memories (maybe traditions!) with my fiancé now that we have a home together :)
