How long have you been blogging? What made you want to start a book blog?

I’ve been blogging for around nine months. I started a book blog because a leprechaun came to me in a dream and told me I should do so. O_O The actual reason I started blogging was to  meet people who adored reading as much as I do. All my friends didn’t read as fast, and would roll their eyes at my extreme fangirling book ramblings. My mom wouldn’t believe I could actually read books as fast as I did, and actually understand them.

What do you do when you’re not blogging or reading?

Buying books, doing something to improve my blog design, or anything that requires creativity really.

What is your favorite part about blogging? Least favorite?

The people have got to be my favorite. Knowing that you can talk to someone who enjoys the same books as you do and fangirl together has got to be one of the reason I blog. Least favorite would have to be the stress of having to post daily.

Where did you come up with the name for your blog?

I actually made a huge list in a notebook thinking of book related words and messed around with them, putting them in different order and such. Somehow I came up with These Flying Pages and when I did it was like I-see-the-light kind of moment.

Do you have any specific book bloggers that inspire you?

Giselle from Xpresso Reads! She’s like a blogging guru :D There’s also Parajunkee, she’s the marketing guru. And many many more I cant think of right now xD

What do you look for in a blog when following? What are your pet peeves?

Shallow yet again but their design has got to be appealing. Of course, I follow some blogs that don’t have this so in that instance good content, awesome reviews, and voice as well as personality.

What’s your favorite book(s)?

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, If I Stay by Gayle Forman, The Vampire Academy and Bloodline series by Richelle Mead. The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. The Soul Screamer Series by Rachael Vincent. ANYTHING written by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Delirium by Lauren Oliver, The Hunger Games, and many more. As you can see I have many favorite books… I like to spread the love :D

What is the biggest turn off for you when you’re reading a book?

What first draws you to a book to make you want to read it?

THE COVER! That might sound kind of shallow but yeah :D If a book has a crappy cover I’m most likely not going to read it.

Do you have a job? If so, what do you do?

Well, I’m 13 (going to turn 14 in two months!) so I cant really do much, but right now I go work at my family members restaurant sometimes and get some money from there to save up for my future biffle (aka the Macbook Pro that is soon to be mine) Also, recently I started being an extra on a T.V show it’s kinda like a side hobby, its super fun and I get paid! *Wags eyebrows*

What did you want to be when you were little? Has that changed?

Umm… I think I wanted to become a lawyer when I was little. Which I still want to do. But blogging has exposed me to a lot of graphic design and its stirred up an interest in me. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see :)
