For review:
The Nightmare Dilemma by Mindee Arnett

In the mail:
Divergent & Allegiant by Veronica Roth, SIGNED (ordered from Blue Bicycle Books)
So, after I got home from YALLfest I started kicking myself for not just buying all three books (I only got Insurgent). What if one day Veronica is untouchable, and her books go for $200+ EACH (like The Hunger Games)? Then I will hate myself for not getting one when I had the chance! I paid $50 for the two of them…which is ridiculous, but I think it will be worth it someday! (They probably still have some left if you want one!)

  1. Oh my gosh, wait…did you pay $50 EACH or $50 total?? That’s insane! And wow I had no idea that Collins’ books go for so much. I’d love to have signed versions, but I definitely couldn’t justify spending that much :(

    • $50 total. I’d have never paid that for each of them! Especially not knowing if I’d even like them. Yeah, it’s insane! She’d probably get mobbed if she ever did a signing now….

UGH I know what you mean! I made that mistake with George R R Martin. I got some of my books signed by him but I DIDN’T get him to sign my ARC of Game of Thrones. Why the hell not? I have no idea, I had a weird moment. So now it’s like my lifetime goal to go find him at another signing to get him to sign it. I don’t even like the books… I just want to complete my signed collection lol.

Anyway, I really can’t wait to read your reviews for those!

    • Those will probably be worth something someday, too! And I know what you mean about having a completed collection, I had Prodigy by Marie Lu signed but bought Legend later. It drove me crazy! Thankfully I was able to see her again at YALLfest…but now I’m missing Champion because they were sold out! Grr…

  3. The Nightmare Dilemma sounds amazing. And you got a pin! <3 I just saw Catching Fire; I'm so excited for Mockingjay to come out. I've heard its being released in two parts, though.
    Happy reading! :)

  4. I just binge-bought (is that what you call it? Probably) three books: Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor, and signed limited edition hardcover copies of Jamie McGuire’s Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster. I wish I could say I’m sorry about it but…

I wish I could say I’ve read Allegiant, but I haven’t. I have it on hold at the library but there are about 200 something people in front of me.

    Happy reading!

    • Nice! Looove Laini Taylor’s books :)

Yeah, I was going to request the audio but the line was INSANE! There’s a crazy amount of people that want it, so I just bought it haha.

  5. Aw thanks for linking to my post as one of your favorites! :)

Your Mockingjay pin is pretty rad. I recently found this tutorial on how to make the mockingjay symbol out of chocolate to use as cupcake toppers (easy peasy stuff, but impressive-looking). I thought about sharing on Twitter but didn’t know how many people would actually use a tutorial like that!
