My fave book I’ve read from this year?..
    Ahhh…Errrm…I have too many!
Probably a toss up between Divergent by Veronica Roth and The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.:)

  2. so many good books! Of all of these, City of Glass is on the top of my to-buy list. If i win the giveaway, I want that one lol

Contemporary NA/Adult: Easy by Tammara Webber, The Opportunist by Tarryn Fisher

YA series (contemporary): Brenna Blixen series by Liz Reinhardt

Sci-Fi – Obsidian and Onyx by JLA

  4. This is a really difficult one to answer, but… favorite reads THUS FAR this year would have to be CINDER and THIS IS NOT A TEST. Wasn’t TINAT SOOOO good?!?! I am having trouble figuring out how to write a review for it on Amazon/Goodreads because of how moved I was by it, just how it blew me away! It was so amazing. And Cinder was just a kick-ass character and I loved that book! I still haven’t read Shadow & Bone OR Daughter of Smoke & Bone yet, and I am pretty sure I’m going to love both of those too… so many books, so little time!

  5. Oh dang, just realized I didn’t mention MONUMENT 14 at all!! That book just grabbed me from the get-go, everything about it just clicked with me. I can’t believe I have to wait until next JUNE to be able to read the next one!!! Sigh.

  6. Awesome!! Congrats on your blogiversary! So cool of you to do this giveaway, and I was happy to see Defiance up there. Just about to dig in, and I hope it’s great!
    Ninja Girl

The best book I read this year was Ermita by F. Sionil Jose–a literary novel that’s definitely not a YA read. It’s not the kind of book I usually go for, but that’s part of the reason I liked it so much!

Happy Blogoversary! And thanks for the giveaway. =)

  8. My Top 5 Contemporary would be:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Pushing the Limits by Katy McGarry
If I Stay by Gayle Forman
    Slammed by Colleen Hoover
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I just realized now that I still have a lot of books to read! Great choices!

  9. Happy Blogoversary! ^^
Wow tough question, huh. I really had a great time while reading, Matched (Ally Condie), The Hunger Games, Before I fall and Beautiful Malice.

    @Tibiux

  10. The best books and series I’ve read so far this year have definitely been the Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane. Anna Dressed in Blood and Delirium were also favorites. I am currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone, so hopefully it will live up to expectations and will soon be a favorite as well!

    – Unearthly series by Cynthia Hand
    – Angelfall by Susan Ee
    – Lumatere Chronicles by Melina Marchetta

Best alien book: Obsidian (I still haven’t received my copy of Onyx *wails*)
    Best mermaid book: Monstrous Beauty
Best angel book: Angelfall and Unearthly (tied lol)
