Books I got this week

March NOVL box

Won:

I was lucky enough to win the March NOVL box (which I can’t believe, I never win anything!) and it was seriously like Christmas when I opened the box. It was so exciting! It was curated by Kass Morgan and it was AWESOME!! I was totally blown away by how many goodies were in the box. I’ve been wanting to watch The 100 for a while but didn’t want to spend money on something I wasn’t sure I’d like, and the line to request it at the library was ridiculously long. I’ve also been eyeballing Salt & Storm for a long time! Thank you so much, NOVL!!

Weekly Recap

Posts on the blog:

What I’ve been up to this week:

I had a really rough time the past few days. This is the simplified version because I don’t want to get too personal, but basically I have a lot of stress and problems in my life that are crushing me from all sides and I’m not handling it very well. I’ve got a lot of crap going on in my head that needs fixed, and it’s bleeding into my home life. Which isn’t going well, either. I’m going to see a counselor soon to help me change the way I look at things so I can stop letting them control my life.

What’s in your mailbox, loverlies? Link me up!

  1. What an exciting win! I love the show but haven’t read the books because I’ve heard they’re not that great, haha.

Sorry to hear about how things have been going. I’m pretty awful at handling my stress, too, and really think I need to work up the courage to find someone to talk to. I really hope it helps you!

  2. I’m glad to see you liked The Girl at Midnight and Ember, both of which I haven’t read yet.

Wow. I’m so sorry to hear you’re dealing with such stress and conflict. That’s the worst thing ever. I hope a counselor can you with all of that. I kind of suffer from the same things.

I hope your week goes well!

This past week I received A Million Miles Away by Lara Avery which I received from Novl. :) As well as a few other books I bought, won or were given.
