What I got this week
- Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, special UK edition w/ black pages
- United by Melissa Landers, SIGNED
- United poster, SIGNED (pre-order campaign)
- 3-pack Fantastic Beasts funko pops (Cornish Pixie, Mandrake, Gryndylow)
- Dauntless tote bag from the September OwlCrate (B/S/T group)
- Gryffindor iPhone case
I am SO stoked about finding the tote bag for $5 on the OwlCrate buy/sell/trade group! I have been after that damn bag forEVER, and when someone has posted it in the past it’s either been a) too expensive, b) bundled with other items I don’t want, or c) it gets snagged faster than I can get to it. I can’t believe I scored it for such a great price!
I’m also thrilled about my GORGEOUS new phone case that I had custom made from PersonallyYoursAcces on Etsy! The shop owner, William, was very attentive and worked with me to get my design just right. The case is a slim case (so it doesn’t cover the front), but it’s super high quality! It’s got rubber bumpers on the side. None of that cheap plastic crap! It’s not as sturdy as my Otterbox case was, as that one had protection on the front screen, but it’s nearly impossible to find stylish (especially nerdy one) cases of this quality anywhere, especially for the price I paid for it. I’m definitely going to buy another one when I get the chance, and I’m thinking about throwing one of them in my 20k giveaway on Instagram when I get there!

What I’ve been up to this week:
WE FINALLY GOT INTERNET!!! *flails* Ahhh it’s SO nice to come home, open the computer, and be automatically connected. No more having to wait and try several times to connect to my phone’s hotspot. And it’s SO amazing to have unlimited internet again! I missed streaming so much. Now we can stream music and movies/tv with no worries! I also downgraded my Verizon data, so my phone bill will be WAY cheaper. I had 24gb on the new plan and it was INSANELY expensive. (Although I am glad they finally have rollover data!)
And of course I had to name my network something nerdy…it’s called Connecto Patronum haha!
I found an epic new show to watch
Disclaimer: I am NOT a TV series kind of person. I’m super picky and I’m TERRIBLE about keeping up with anything. (I watched the first two seasons of OUaT religiously, then missed the first episode of season 3 and just….never continued…) The ONLY show (besides anime) that I’ve ever stuck with past two seasons is Dexter. And since that finished I’ve never been able to find anything that could compare.
Friday I stumbled on Stranger Things on Netflix. The trailer caught my attention, so I watched the first 10 minutes and was intrigued. I stopped it and waited until my boyfriend was home so we could watch it together. And you know what? We binge watched THE WHOLE DAMN SEASON. IN ONE NIGHT. It was SO good, we couldn’t stop! We were seriously up until 3 am finishing that damn show because with every cliffhanger episode ending we couldn’t not continue. It was crazy intense!!
My blog dashboard works again!! Turns out it was my hotspot having compatibility issues with GoDaddy and WordPress. I don’t know why it was suddenly an issue, but at least the problem is solved now! I’m hoping to be back to blogging normally now…after I catch up on the 6 reviews I’m behind *wails*
