Last week’s topic: Your Favorite Place
As I mentioned in last week’s post, I haven’t really traveled far. I’ve never been out of the US, and I’ve never been out west. I’ve only ever been to eastern states, sadly: Ohio (duh), Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Maryland, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
As for places I want to travel….
In the US:
- Arizona – I’ve heard it’s beautiful!
- New York – but only for BEA ;)
- California – just to say I’ve been
- Texas
- Landmarks: Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, Statue of Liberty, Redwood Forest, Niagra Falls
Outside the US:
- Australia – I want to go here SO bad!
- Japan – I love the culture!
- Ireland – going back to my roots
- Scotland – my fiancé’s roots, and the countryside is beautiful
- Paris – just to say I’ve been

You’ve been to quite a few states (I think I counted 16). I’ve been to 4 (unless you count the ones where I didn’t leave the airport, then it’s 6). 4 states and 4 Canadian provinces. BUt I did go to EUrope for 3 months, which was amazing. I LOVED Scotland and England so much! Paris was pretty nice as well. I would also love to visit Japan one day.
YES. Everyone should see Australia! It’s beautiful…aaand hot. And wet. Or alternately burning. Gosh, why do we either have fires or floods? We could seriously be the next Victoria Scott novel.
AHAHAH I’m laughing at Cait’s comment! Australia is definitely wonderful. And burning hot. And wet. ;) You need to try some Vegemite! I’ve seen Japan and France in so many books so they’re definitely priority for me as well. <3

But whenever you plan you Cali and Texas trips, let me know! I have tons of places to suggest ;D Aka: the places I’ve been and loved.
As for outside the US, my main two countries are Ecuador (roots) and Italy (language/history). But I wouldn’t mind Scotland or Japan, to be honest (:
I don’t know what it is about Australia that freaks me out. I know people joke about everything on that island being out to kill you, but I’ll admit it, I think I’m paranoid xD
Hopefully you get to travel to all those places! And take lots of pics so you can share the awesomeness with the rest of us! ;D
I think you’ve been to more states than I have – most of mine are on the east coast too. I live in Texas but when we moved here from NY we flew and I never really visited the in-between states. I’d really love to go to Australia too! It’s at the top of my list as is Italy – but since I’m adverse to flying, I’m going to have to take a cruise :)
