Well, I already talked about my brothers and sisters a couple weeks ago in the Life of a Blogger: Siblings post, and my fiancé in the Life of a Blogger: Significant Others post way back when, so I suppose all that’s left is my parents!
I have a VERY good relationship with my parents. They mean the world to me! I lived with them for 25 years – I just recently moved out for the first time, and it’s been difficult to say the least. Living with them is all I’ve ever known, so it’s hard for me to be away from them for very long! I still make it a point to visit with them a couple times a week because I get homesick if I don’t see them for more than a few days. They’ve always been there for me no matter what, and I don’t know what I’d do without them! They’re both my go-to people when I need anything, especially a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear. They always pick me up when I’m down and I tell them almost everything. I love them very dearly!
On to the rest of my family….
My mom’s side: Brooks
The Brooks’ are a very quiet, laid back bunch. The only ones on this side I see are my grandma (who now lives in Florida…I miss her!) and two of my uncles (along with their families). I see my great aunts and uncles about once a year because they live in Florida.
My dad’s side: Larie
The Larie’s are exactly the opposite. They are loud and rambunctious! I see my half brothers and sister maybe once a month at most, and while the rest of the Larie family is HUGE, I don’t really see anyone else. At our family reunions every year I don’t even know half of the people there!
