The Book Blogger Creativity Project is an awesome collaboration cooked up and put together by the fabulous Nori @ Readwritelove. It was so fun to be part of this project and to be part of Team Orange!
Our team’s project was a getting to know each other post, featuring interview questions.
Without further ado, meet Justin from Justin’s Book Blog!
Hi everyone, my name is Justin. Just a little background on me, I am 26 years old. I am currently a full time student, alongside doing an internship with a publishing company and devoting any extra time I have outside of all of that into my blog. With all of that, I usually have next to zero free time, but I enjoy it all.
How long have you been blogging?
I’ve been blogging for five years (four on my current blog) and did Booktube in 2009 so I have been part of the community for six years.
What has been your favorite or most memorable moment of book blogging?
There are too many moments to be able to select just one… I’ve had some amazing opportunities through my blogging career and I look forward to being able to continue to do more.
What advice or tips would you give to new bloggers?
My main piece of advice would just be not to get discouraged. I can’t tell you the number of new bloggers I have had come to me seeking advice, because they feel like they aren’t able to do anything right. It’s tough when you first start out, but it is somewhere we have all been. You just have to stick with it, and eventually things will start to fall into place.
What was your gateaway book to reading?
Harry Potter, without a doubt.
Who is your favorite author?
It’s a tie between J.K. Rowling and Markus Zusak.
My Favorite genre is Fantasy.
