This week’s topic: Dreams
I don’t really remember my dreams much anymore. I used to, though! I actually used to keep a dream journal and write them down. I have really weird dreams, guys. I had a dream once that there was a Tyrannosaurus Rex rampaging through my high school. Yep. My dreams are very vivid and they tend to linger for a couple of hours after I wake up. But after that they’re just…gone. Every once in a while I’ll remember snippets here and there, but if I don’t write it down it’s gone! (Which really goes for anything in life, my memory sucks.)
I actually kind of wish I’d kept a better journal of them. Do any of you keep a dream journal?
Today’s post definitely makes me want to start writing down my dreams again. I read through my old dream journal and it was a lot of fun to read! Kind of creepy, too.
I don’t keep a journal. I look up my dreams on a dream dictionary before I roll out of bed. When I remember my dreams that is.
I’ve never kept a dream journal, but always wished that I had as well — definitely would help for those dreams that evaporate as soon as I wake up! A T-Rex rampaging through the high school sounds like a CRAZY dream!
I have periods where I seem to remember every dream and sometimes it feels like I hardly dream at all. Some dreams can be so exhausting!
I’ve never kept a dream journal, but I’ve always wanted to. I think dreams tell you stuff about our subconscious and it’s important to listen.
I don’t keep a dream journal, but it wouldn’t mater if I did or not because I can’t seem to remember them when I wake up if I do dream). I remember I had this re-occuring nightmare for years about a snake in red lipstick and a red skirt trying to eat me. Idek what that means LOL
I usually don’t remember my dreams anymore, which is kind of sad… even as I wake up, I think I didn’t dream at all – which is just impossible, right?
But I do keep a notebook next to my bed, because sometimes, when I’m working on a paper for a class, I will dream the perfect sentence to include in my paper, and if I don’t write it down as soon as I wake up – and that can be in the middle of the night – it’s gone. Some of my best essays have been written with help of dreams, actually :)
Have a spectacular Saturday, Jessi :)
I don’t really keep a journal, mainly because I don’t tend to remember my dreams. But I do have a few freaky ones that I shared in my post :)
