My thoughts
Going into this book, I honestly didn’t think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did! This book surprised me in a good way!
I absolutely loved the format. It’s told in alternating POVs – one being Sadie, the other being a podcast. It was SO cool!! And the way it was written keeps you interested and makes this book unputdownable! I gobbled it up in one single sitting, which is something I haven’t done in ages. Each chapter ends in a mini cliffhanger too, so it keeps you going!
This book was so tragic! I just felt so bad for Sadie. I found myself cheering for her, wishing that she would find retribution! Also, THAT ENDING. View Spoiler »
I loved the podcasts too! I really liked how the story followed different timelines, so you had no idea where things were going to go. You only get small snippets of the story at a time, which kept me guessing! I definitely recommend this book, even if you’re not a fan of thrillers! It wasn’t something I’d usually ever reach for, but I’m glad I did. For once stepping outside of my genre comfort zone really paid off!

I didn’t know about the format of this book. I love podcasts, so this intrigues me. Thanks for the review–I love that the book surprised you and that you found Sadie to be someone to cheer for. Now I need to read it for the ending you mentioned.
