Week 1 recap
I had a pretty bad week so I wasn’t able to do nearly as much for Horror October as I wanted to do :( Hopefully next week will be more productive!
What I read:
This one was so slow going that it took me all week. It didn’t help much with my current slump – if anything, it made it worse!
What I watched:
Sadly I didn’t do much else Halloween themed. I did watch the first episode of Goosebumps (The Girl Who Cried Monster) for nostalgia purposes, but I didn’t continue. I may watch some more since I miss the show from my childhood, but they are SO cheesy lol! I didn’t get a chance to watch any horror movies this week, sadly.

Pumpkin Mini Challenge
I’m a little late in posting this, but the first mini challenge for Horror October was the Pumpkin Challenge – carving a pumpkin! I had so much fun with this one. It’s been years since I carved a pumpkin and I am super excited about the pumpkin seeds I got out of it! I did a batch of garlic parmesan seeds and a batch of brown sugar cinnamon. Yum!
Here’s how my pumpkin turned out:
It’s not bookish, but oh well. Jack is awesome!

Love the carved pumpkin!! I haven’t carved one in years and don’t think we’re going to this year either, but have plenty of pumpkin decorations around!
