Last week’s topic: Food
Okay so just a little thing you should know: I am a celebrity aficionado. NOT about their lives and who’s dating who and all the gossip – I don’t give two shits about that. But when it comes to names and faces, I totally rock (I’m great at putting names to faces in general). I can watch a movie and (usually) easily tell you who the main actresses/actors are.
The actor/actress playing in a movie can make or break my decision to see the movie.
Here are the actors and actresses that are on my make list:
Lenny Kravitz is in such a small font because I’ve only every seen him in The Hunger Games, but he was AMAZING! (And he’s beautiful ;D) Bill Nighy has the best voice EVER, and all of the other actors are just amazing. Johnny Depp can seriously do anything. ANYTHING. While Bruce Willis only has a typical role that he plays in, he’s a badass. And he does that role so well that I don’t mind. The only movie I’ve ever seen Kevin Costner play in that I didn’t like was Mr. Brooks, but he’s had so many other amazing roles: like Dances With Wolves, Waterworld, and The Guardian. And I’m kind of madly in love with The Rock (but I already was before he started acting – he was my favorite wrestler)!
One actor I forgot to include (and am too lazy to fix it) is Nicholas Cage. I actually used to dislike him until I saw him play in National Treasure. Then there was Ghost Rider and Sorcerer’s Apprentice and he’s since grown on me!
Megan Fox is one of the smaller fonts just because she’s not that great of an actress; but I have a total girl crush on her! The only exception to Jennifer Aniston is Friends because I never liked that show. But I looove her sarcasm in the romantic comedies she plays in! And I don’t think I have to explain Jennifer Lawrence ;)
And here are the actors/actresses on my break list:
Notice that Will Ferrell is in the largest font. I hate that guy. I can’t stand to look at him and I find his “humor” retarded and irritating rather than funny. I seriously can’t stand him and when he’s in a movie I will NOT watch it! And I feel like I’m the only woman on the planet that doesn’t like Jason Statham, but I don’t like his face and his big ass forehead bugs me. Plus his movies are so cookie cutter that I feel like he plays the same role over and over again. Meh! For the rest, there’s just something that bothers me about them. The only movie I’ve ever seen Jude Law play in where I actually liked him was Repo Men. Matthew McConaughey’s exception for me is Sahara, and Leo’s is Inception. Love those movies!
Kristen Stewart is kind of obvious, and I feel the same way about Angelina Jolie as I feel about Jason Statham. She only plays a certain role and her perpetual duck face bugs me! I’m not a fan of Kiera Knightley or Natalie Portman, but I do like certain movies with them (Pirates of the Caribbean and Thor). And while I really don’t like Scarlett Johansson, I do have to admit that she’s perfect for Black Widow.
Your turn! Make your own post telling everyone about actors and actresses and link up :)
Next week’s topic: Favorite albums
Aw man . I love Angelina Jolie and Nicolas Cage. FACT: He was born the same year as me. I don’t like Jennifer Aniston though or Bruce Willis. I would’ve added Jennifer Lawrence but she is a fairly new actress and way younger than my generation .
This is awesome. ;) I think actors/actresses are AWESOME people, but I don’t really follow them particularly outside their movie roles. Except for stuff they stay on pinterest, lol XD I do like Jude Law in the Sherlock Holmes movies, but in Contagion he was frankly irritating and awful. Ew. Robert Downy Junior and Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth would probably make my lists…OKAY. Just anyone who’s in Marvel movies! XD
Several of your choices for me are ok-ish, but I completely agree with you about Matthew McConaughey. I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t stand him!! Same for Bradley Cooper. Every time I catch a glimpse of anything involving these two, I just switch channel!
Love Jennifer Lawrence and Kevin Costner! I’ve only seen Lenny Kravitz in THG but he was fantastic and I hope to see him in more movies in the future :)
We’ve finally found something that we DON’T have in common ;) Leo was plastered ALL OVER my bedroom wall as a teen. It was his role as Romeo that won over my heart, and then I watched ALL his backlist titles, then Titanic sealed the deal =P
I didn’t include actresses in my post, but Jennifer Lawrence would definitely be on that list — she’s amazing! I agree with you on Angelina Jolie … your comment about her face made me giggle ;P
Besides Amanda Bynes I kinda like the Actresses on your Break List, there are certain movies I will see with them. I don’t like Megan Fox, theres just something I don’t like about her acting. Too me she just has this blank look on her face. When I watch transformers I just wish she wasn’t in it.
also Kristen Stewart, I will not watch a movie with her. Her face also got that blank look.
I quite like Keira Knightley, Jude Law, and Leonardo DiCaprio, but I can see why you wouldn’t. I have some issues with Leonardo DiCaprio as a person because I’ve heard he isn’t that nice – some interview or something from some magazine. And I have an issue with celebrities who are total pricks. I mean fame does not equal asshole behavior.
Fun fact: Nicholas Cage is spotted around my town a LOT! Apparently he moved to Vegas a couple years ago (I’m not sure if he’s still here) and a lot of people have seen him at the gym, at restaurants, etc. He’s really nice and tends to be open to signing autographs. Very cool. :P
I also love Jennifer Lawrence and Johny Deep too! And yep, totally agree with you about Kristen Stewart. I always skip whatever movie that has her as the main actress :(

I’m glad that I’m not the only person who’s not too keen on Leonardo DiCaprio! And I can only barely make it through a Kristen Stewart film. She’s just too bland for me.
I love Johnny and Bruce! They are my two favorites. My two favorite actresses are Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston.
