Nothing exciting to report about the Brandon Sanderson signing – I went after work so I missed the whole panel. Just went to get a couple books signed, and the line was HUGE! We had to get number tickets and I was #56 in line. We were there for an hour and a half just waiting to get books signed, it was ridiculous! I haven’t even read anything of his, that’s the sad part. But he’s Inky’s favorite author, so I figured I’d go anyway!

Library sales are awesome! I moved to a small town recently, and their annual library sale had ZERO young adult books! But my hometown is have a sale when I’m visiting this month, so that’s excited.
I’ve been hearing all great things about Mistborn, but like you, I haven’t read anything by Sanderson yet. That’s some dedication for a new-to-you author! Hopefully it pays off :)
I love my library! I’m lucky enough to live near a library that has TONS of branches, so they have pretty much anything!
I hope so too :)
Awesome haul this week! My library is supposed to have their sale sometime starting next weekend I do believe. But they never really amount to much unfortunately.
I haven’t read any of these books except for A Monster Calls. It’s actually one of my all time favorites! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! It’s a very sweet, deep little story.
I also picked up Rot and Ruin at half price books yesterday for like $5. :) Can’t wait to get to it!
I’m excited to see your thoughts!
I’ve heard A Monster Calls is more of middle grade than YA. Is that true? I’m not sure if I’ll like it or not, but thought it was worth a try! Hopefully I do enjoy it as much as you!
We should buddy read Rot & Ruin! :D
It is middle grade (which I never read myself), but I was so surprised when I read it! It’s a beautiful, sad story that is geared towards a younger audience, but has a message anyone can relate to. Let me know what you think about it if you get to it!
And I’m so up for a buddy read, considering I’ve never actually done one! Lol :)
I’ll still try it! I tried a buddy read with Inky on Girl of Fire and Thorns, but we kinda failed lol. I was so far behind her that we weren’t really reading it together. But we can try if you want! What does your reading schedule look like? I’m on Parasite right now and it’s HUGE, so it may take me a few more days (as long as a week) to get through it.
Oh gosh I am so jelly of all those books!
Happy reading, hun! <33
All the books! What an awesome library sale.
Dark Inside was fabulous – really dark and intense.
Enjoy :-D
Thanks Kat! :D
WOW! Awesome haul!
I also have Wither that I really want to read! I want to read Rot & Ruin as well and I think I may have bought it on my kindle a while back. I also want to read A Monster Calls so badly as I LOVE Patrick Ness! :)
Enjoy your new books!

My My STS post!
I can’t wait to read any of them! XD
I haven’t heard of anything else by Patrick Ness, I’ll have to look him up!
HOLY COW!! Your library had a kickin sale! All those books for less than the price of one hardcover? And a lot of those books are hardcovers themsevles?! That’s awesome! The few times I’ve seen what my library was selling it was the totally worn out paperbacks and a few hardcovers. Nothing in my reading genre. Oh well.
Hope you enjoy all your fabulous reads and finds!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Yeah, my library rocks :)
You have great looking books there Jessi! I love Parasite and there are quite some books in your stack I can’t wait to read. Enjoy :D
I’m loving Parasite so far!! It’s pretty awesome :)
Great Haul from the library! I love my library’s sales!! And bummer about that long line! Hopefully it will be worth it when you read the book!
I love library book sales! I haven’t been to a good one since I moved from OK, which is probably a good thing since I would spend WAY too much!
My husband loves the Cinda Williams Chima books. I haven’t read any of them yet, but they are on my list to get to. . . someday!
I usually spend around $25 to $30, which is a lot for the sale itself but not a lot for books. I love that they’re dirt cheap! I usually go for hardbacks though, because their paperbacks are pretty beat up. But when I take their plastic dust covers off, the hardbacks’ dust covers are nice and new looking. It’s awesome!
I haven’t either >.< I've had Demon King on my shelf for like EVER and still haven't gotten around to reading it. *sigh*
Holy library sale- you got some awesome books (Kill Me Softly is one of my favorites!)
Too bad oh missed the panel!! But you have books now!!! Ihope
Lol darling were you drunk when you left this comment? O_O Bahahaa. Yeah I wish I could have recorded the panel for you! Hopefully I love his books as much as you did :)
<333
Ooh, look at those lovelies! Happy reading :)
I’m nervous about reading Steelheart, but problem solved because I’ll wait until you read and review it first before I decide whether or not to read it. ;D
No pressure!
Baha, nah, no pressure at all!! :p
