STUFF HAPPENS, MAN. It’s finally happening! And it’s getting intense! I’m beyond excited to see where the search for Glendower goes. I feel the conclusion drawing nearer and I feel excited and anxious all at the same time. I want them to find Glendower. I don’t want it to end. I JUST WANT GANSEY TO LIVE. I love this series so much. Maggie’s writing is so beautiful, there’s so many feels and quotable passages! It’s also got plenty of humor […]

DNF Review: And I Darken by Kiersten White

DNF Review: And I Darken by Kiersten White

This book was SO boring I just couldn’t bring myself to finish. It’s sad, because I usually really enjoy Kiersten White’s books. I’m not sure if it was because it’s Historical (which I’m pretty picky about on the very rare occasion I do pick it up), because I just wasn’t in the mood to read it (I’m going to be honest, my brain is in Raven Cycle mode at the moment), or because it simply isn’t for me (most likely, tbh). I made […]

While I didn’t quite enjoy this as much as the first book, it was still an enjoyable story! I love the world that Boecker has created, full of magic and deception. I love the magic in this book, despite the fact that it left me wanting more. I did quite enjoy the deception at the end and the final part of the plan. It all came to a good conclusion with a nice clean, tied-up ending. No loose ends here! […]

Review: Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton

I liked what life felt like with him in the desert. Like we were equals. Like we fit together. Too tangled to pull apart so easily. This book has a very western/Arabian feel to it – it’s kind of like Walk on Earth a Stranger meets The Fire Wish. (Loved WoEaS, didn’t care for FW.) I lovelovelove the girl-disguised-as-a-boy stories! This book wasn’t really Historical, but kind of had that feel to it when it came to women’s rights. Life is […]
