What I’ve been up to this month

Vacation!! I started the month with a vacation to Florida, then YALLfest! Florida was amazing – I was there from Friday the 2nd until the following Thursday, and I spent 3 of those nights on the beach! I had some quality time with my parents and some much needed soul healing on the beach at New Smyrna (my favorite place ever!). I left Thursday to head north to pick up Christy (@cbookaddiction), spent the night at her place, and headed out bright and early for Charleston, SC, and YALLfest! There’s a full recap of the festival on this post here if you’re interested!

I spent Thanksgiving alone, for the first time in my life. It was a bit lonely, but I had a good day on my own!  I made myself a nice breakfast of bacon, eggs, and toast, took a peaceful walk at the Falls near my house, then made a great dinner of chicken, peas, rolls, and candied yams. It was sad to not spend it with Aaron for the first time in 3 years, but I did ok on my own.

Current obsessions

Movies: The Greatest Showman!! WHY did I wait so long to watch it?!

Music: Greatest Showman soundtrack (and Reimagined soundtrack), Higher by Naked & Famous

Food: I made my own dip for apples with yogurt, peanut butter, and a splash of vanilla and I am OBSESSED!

Games: Pixel Logic on Peak – I have spent an embarrassing amount of time on this game because it is SO addicting! I bought Peak Pro just to play that game XD

Apps: Direct Message for Instagram (Mac) – it was $4.99 but worth EVERY penny! It’s so much faster to type messages on the computer.
