Last week’s topic: Favorite albums

bucketlist

Topic suggested by Sam @ The Nighttime Novelist

This is kind of tough for me to write. I used to have a long, extensive bucket list, but it was on a floppy drive way back when and somewhere along the way I lost it. :( So I’m just going to make an unordered random list of things I can think of off the top of my head. (I’m writing this at 9 pm after a 13-hour work day thanks to my scatterbrained forgetfulness. So forgive me if it sucks >.<) I added a couple of things that were on my bucket list that I’ve recently crossed off.

  • Travel the world: I talked a little about this in my Life of a Blogger: Travel post
  • Ziplining
  • Parasailing
  • Go skydiving
  • Go skydiving again
  • Bungee jumping
  • Hang gliding
  • Fly a plane
  • Scuba diving
  • Buy a house (working on that right now)
  • Marry the love of my life
  • Have children (2? Maybe 3?)
  • Donate a meaningful amount to charity
  • Meet M. Shadows
  • Get a shirt signed by Avenged Sevenfold
  • GO TO BEA
  • Get one of those damned defaced copies of the Shatter Me series
  • Swim with dolphins
  • Touch an orca
  • Get a Maine Coon
  • Take a martial arts class
  • Finish the crappy book I’ve been writing for like 10 years
  • Learn how to shoot a gun
  • Learn archery
  • Learn how to play guitar
  • Go paintballing
  • *coughs* Read the Harry Potter books…
  • Watch the Star Wars movies (totally just did this last week..sad, right?)
  • Buy a home in Florida
  • Build a bookshelf
  • Spend a week on a house boat
  • Have a saltwater fish tank (expensive!!)
  • Own a snake
  • Ride in a hot air balloon
  • Make Eleanor mine
  • Buy a boat
  • Meet Guillermo Del Toro
  • Save someone’s life

Okay, that’s all I can think of right now. I’m sure I’ll think of other things later!

Your turn! Make your own post telling everyone about your bucket list and link up :)

  1. Oh snap saltwater tanks are so awesome! And you’re right, so so expensive! But I need one of those in my life.
I sill haven’t seen the Star Wars movies…heh. And I probably should’ve added “Meet Synyster Gates” to my list xD

  2. I love this list, meeting Guillermo Del Toro is a big dream of mine too! Maine Coon cats are the sweetest things, nice choice! I also put wanting a house, marrying and having children in my list :)

  3. Archery and scuba-diving! The first I’ll probably get to do, but the second… Well, it doesn’t help that I’m afraid of oceans lol.

  4. Awesome list! Don’t feel too bad about star wars – I haven’t seen them all either. Not really a big fan. Now not having read the Harry Potter books… I’m going to forgive you on that one since you still want to :D Hope the house buying is going well!

  5. Shannon N.

We have some similar bucket list items: archery, learn how to shoot a gun, scuba diving and ride in a hot air balloon! I recently crossed off the hot air balloon ride. SUPER cool, but very pricey…

  6. Your bucket list is epic! I especially love the getting a defaced Shatter Me book and go to BEA. Also it’s so cool that you want to do all this fun stuff like bungee jumping and skydiving. I feel like I’d be SO scared to do that kind of stuff lol. Thanks for sharing, Jessi! <33

  7. Wow, this is such a great post, you have an amazing bucket list! They all sound amazing, and I’d really like to swim with dolphins too :) Also, this post reminded me that I’d completely forgotten about floppy drive! Haha :) Hope you’re having a great week! xxx

  8. I submitted the link for my bookish bucket list, but to add on some personal goals:

    – indoor skydiving (I’m terrified of heights, but I wanna do this)
    – guest emcee for a night with the WWE
    – visit Italy
    – do Carnival in the Caribbean (with all the beads and feathers)
