November’s feature: Shifters!
If you don’t know by now, this is my FAVORITE category of paranormals. I loooove were stories! Here are some of my favorite shifter/were novels:
I love Kelley Armstrong’s books featuring Elena Michaels. It’s been forever since I read them, and same with the Darkest Powers trilogy! I’ve been dying to re-read them, they were some of my first favorites! City of a Thousand Dolls was SO good, I definitely recommend it! JERRIT. <3
I didn’t read a PnRC book for October because of Horror October. But this month I definitely will! Here are my picks:
Link your PnRC reviews!
I LOVE Kelley Armstrong & her books!!!! LOVE!!!! I haven’t read any of others sadly. Thornhill and Forever I have heard about, all good things. So I hope I eventually read those.
Me too! I need to finish the Otherworld series, but I never cared much about Paige or any of the others, so I only read the ones with Elena in them. Some day!
I have had those Kelly Armstrong books on my TBR shelf for a really long time, I think I am going to pick them up next though (I need a few good books after having read a series of not so great ones).
I am not a fan of “Forever” – I usually like shifter books, but the writing style just didn’t work for me.
They’re amazing! I hope you love them as much as I did :)
I liked Shiver, but wasn’t all that impressed with Linger. Hopefully the finale won’t be a disappointment…
Omg I want to read Thornhill SO bad it looks so amazing, and Hemlock got me out of my reading slump last year, so I was hoping Thornhill would do the same. Anyway, I hope you really love it!
We should buddy read Thornhill! :D
i love werewolves and shifters in general but i read a lot in october( couldn’t resist) now i need to find those that i have that still fit^^)
I’ve been wanting to read Bitten forever, especially now that there is going to be a TV series based on the show. I have the audio for the Summoning, but haven’t read it either!
I read Shiver a few years ago and thought it was only ok and have never gotten around to reading Linger.
I can’t wait to see what you think of Thornhill!
WHAT really?!?!!! EEP! Bitten was good but Stolen was waaay better in my opinion. When you get a chance to read them, I hope you love them as much as I did!
Yeah, Linger wasn’t as good as Shiver, that’s why I’ve put off reading Forever!
I can’t WAIT for Thornhill! I loved Hemlock :)
If I understand it correctly, technically Canada has already done an adaptation and SyFy has gained the rights to air that version.
Thanks for the link! I checked out the trailer for it, I’m not sure if I’m impressed or not lol. I will probably still try it because I loved the books so much, but I’m not sure the show will do them justice!
