Carrie’s writing skills have really improved since she wrote Need. I didn’t care for that one, but this one was pretty darn good! Dark and haunting – it definitely had the creep factor. I had mixed feelings about this book. I loved it for the simple fact that it was unique and unlike anything I’ve ever read before. Zombie/Post-Apocalyptic/Steampunk/Victorian all in one…wow!
