Taken is a fantastic dystopian that is great for fans of Legend by Marie Lu. If you didn’t already know, this was my #1 most anticipated 2013 release. Did it live up to the hype? Mostly. I did really enjoy it, but it wasn’t as spectacularly epic as I thought it would be. Gray was a good lead. He was almost completely ruled by his emotions, which was probably why I liked him. It made him seem more realistic. The romance…sigh. This […]

I am in a world of winter being burned beneath a summer sun. Stung was fabulous! This was a great example of humans playing God and getting burned for it. And, if you didn’t know by now, I loooove those kind of stories! Stung was a high action, high stakes, fast paced edge-of-your-seat read. Once you step into the pages, you’ll lose yourself in the world that Wiggins has created! This book was so original I couldn’t help but love it! […]

When I was reading this, I loved it. But now that a few days have passed, I realized: This book is forgettable. For me, at least. The pacing was quick and there were times when I was so engrossed that I couldn’t put the book down. But now, looking back, I find I have to think hard to remember the details, although it’s only been a couple days since I finished. That’s not a good thing. I liked Anna. Liked, […]

I’ve never read a book so pointless in my life. That’s 3 hours of my life I’m never getting back. Even after finishing this book, I couldn’t tell you what it was about. It’s like someone ate a dictionary and vomited all over the pages. I took absolutely no meaning from this story. I didn’t see the point in anything I was reading, I didn’t understand the meaning of any of the made-up words being thrown at me, and I […]

So, I wanted to read this book really bad because the cover was amazing and it sounded cool, then when Inky was like, HEY this book is about a girl who can talk to cats! (because I somehow missed the cat part in the synopsis -JessiFail-) I was pretty sure I would love it. And love it I did!!! (I really don’t think there’s any possible way I could have NOT liked it!)

I had been seeing some meh reviews for this one, so I was a bit leery going in. But I was surprised by how much enjoyed it! The concept is so unique, and while the whole school murder mystery isn’t all that original, the world was. And there was humor! I giggled plenty of times at Dusty’s sarcasm. I do love a book that can make me laugh. The story had a strong start with Dusty’s break-in, and I was […]
