Should I Change Heartbeat Weekly into Heartbeat Monthly?

Should I Change Heartbeat Weekly into Heartbeat Monthly?

I’ve been thinking lately about switching over from weekly wrap ups to monthly wrap ups. I don’t post consistently every week, so my hauls tend to be every month anyway. Last year they tended to be every other month. So it’s kind of pointless to name it ‘weekly!’ I really want to start wrapping up books I read, books I reviewed, and some other stats and bookish things (including bookstagram!) in my wrap ups as well, and it seems redundant […]

Mini Review: Caraval by Stephanie Garber

Mini Review: Caraval by Stephanie Garber

Confession: I read this a year ago and I’m just now getting around to reviewing it. Oopsie. It’s been so long that I’d forgotten most of what happened, so I had to read a recap. I enjoyed it for the most part! I loved the concept of Caraval, and the carnival itself was fun and twisted. It had a very strange and magical quality to it! I liked that you never knew what was real or not, or who to […]

2018 Goals & Resolutions

2018 Goals & Resolutions

I typically hate making New Year’s resolutions because it’s my belief that you should do so throughout the whole year! But I do still love them because it’s good motivation! Reading resolutions Read more. Last year I only read twenty books. That is positively abysmal for me!! I used to read 100+ books a year, and at my peak I read almost 150. I set my Goodreads challenge goal at 25 so that I won’t be disappointed if I fall […]

Review: An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson

Review: An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson

Why do we desire, above all other things, that which has the greatest power to destroy us? A little backstory first: I am SUPER picky about fae books. In fact, there’s only two I can think of that I’ve genuinely enjoyed: The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa and the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. Before this book came out, the hype was unreal. I was DYING to get my hands on it, and the ARC reviews were positively glowing. […]
