I’m so excited to be participating in the OWLs for the Magical Readathon this month! I recently discovered this readathon, and this is my first year joining. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it before! If you’re interested in signing up, you can find all the information you need HERE!
It can be pretty overwhelming at first – there’s a lot of info to take in – but once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy! I personally found it easier to choose a career path based off of the prompts. I went through and looked at all of the careers with middle level prompts (i.e. Wandmaker, Librarian, and Auror all have 5-6 prompts whereas careers like Alchemist and Professor have a super long list of prompts), then chose the ones with prompts I liked better (example: I’m not really a fan of witch books, so I avoided History of Magic in my career prompts).
I was originally going to go with Wandmaker, but when I realized that you HAVE to go with Magizoologist to become a Dragon Tamer, I switched haha! I might still do Wandmaker, or even switch back if I can’t find a dragon book I like. We’ll see!
My career of choice: Magizoologist
